The only way you can improve on this kinda shot now...is to apply some selective lighting adjustments on specific areas...in order to give it more pop.


From where I sit...the image looks a bit dark/heavy...coz certain areas need to be lightened.


I feel that with flower shots (especialy indoors) that selective lighting adjustments are key to obtaining an optimal result. Even the best cameras don't seem to be able to capture the full dynamic range and this is the main areas that needs tweaking. IF you learn to use NX2 you will find this task a snap.

Thanks for asking.
The peripheral pain has gone...still sore to touch or press...which is a bit surprising as it's been 6 weeks now. The break has fused tho, coz it's not moving around now Smile

If your monitor is calibrated properly you should see sixteen distinct tones from white to black.
