Some post proccessing on this could make it stand out better in my opinion

Thanks for the suggestion. I was wondering about doing some color correction (warming it a bit and maybe increasing saturation). Was that what you meant, or something else? Is this something that layers would be used for?

Very nice composition! As far as the post procession that Rich mentioned, I'm not sure what he had in mind, but I think you might try increasing the contrast for certain, and then warming it some. I wouldn't increase the saturation much though. Contrast should help a lot. What program do you use?

Thanks, Beth. I haven't really explored post-processing software, yet. I use the package that came free with my camera (Olympus Master 2). It has all the features I already know how to use, and many that I don't yet understand. I plan to learn as much as I can with it and then buy better software for processing images.

If your monitor is calibrated properly you should see sixteen distinct tones from white to black.
