There used to be hundreds of those in our property. A rare sight in Manila now due to the pollution.

Guys You all just made me sooooooooo happy to seeing this picture the way i saw it last summer i have a close up attempt of one of these fellows .. Rich i love/envy the locations you are able take those great shots of....meltimtiman your street life/people images are inspiring/disturbing because they show the layer what just a few see..... we spent our childhood at the opposite side of the Globe /Hungary/ but looks like we share the same memories ... when i read your line of childhood memories it brought /happy/ tears in to my eyes. Thank you All.

I like the way you've caught the one in the top right with it's wings in motion blur, kind like a helicopter which gives the photo some life and movement.

Thank you for your king words, of course it was just a lucky fluke with the wings, i wish i can do the same thing intentionaly but i just using a cheap camera with a lot of shutter delay ....

If your monitor is calibrated properly you should see sixteen distinct tones from white to black.
