not the best flower pic ever, wondering if anyone could give me any feedback on what would make it better, thanks guys

Hi there
The composition is good but the picture itself looks rather soft.Not sure what type of camera you are using. On my camera i would have used something like a aperture of F8 and matched the shutter speed to my lens lenght and iso to suit and concentrate on just the flower itself and boost the saturation but not to much.Hope this helps a bit

I took it at F11 and at 1/200 (at focal 55mm) and iso 800. Just wondering how what you were saying would make a difference? less DOF? also i didnt have a tripod on me, thanks for the help rich

If your monitor is calibrated properly you should see sixteen distinct tones from white to black.
