I know spring has truly arrived now Smile...coz my Amaryllis is the first large exotic flower to come out in bloom.
Just playing around with light and colours. I did a stacked (40x) version as well...maybe that will add some extra depth-detail.
I'll upload that image later on when I've finished processing it.

Nice Kev i always struggle with red flowers .How you keeping ??
Going to try stacking when we get some good flowers out .

Yeah reds do seem to be a bit of a challenge...especially to bring out the petal-detail, etc. Ya gotta really work it. Make the lighting bring them alive.


Well to be honest, the last 4 months have been rather painful & tough...after falling and breaking the four ribs...and then getting hit head-on by that bicycle (a month ago) and breaking another two more ribs...I've felt kinda beat up, quite lethargic, & not exactly inspired to take photographs. Still, springs here, so hopefully I will get back in the mood Smile
