Trick with this type of shot (Of which i always forget) Is take two shots one for the focus on the wall and one for the focus on the area through the door way .
Great idea that i must try again sometime soon .Enjoy the rest of the holiday.

Will remember that for next time, good tip, thanks Rich, I automatically think if you get the DOF right you think the distance part will be in focus also

Thanks Phreeb, ive just bought Zerene stacker and currently having a go at increasing DOF to try getting everything in focus for pictures like this.
