My first attempt at a long shutter time with a tight aperture. It's a shame that Pennsylvania had not had rain for a while before I took this shot - normally there is more water flowing down the rocks. What looks like a lot of noise in the picture shows up (or is covered up) by the moss growing on the rock in the color version.


I think a darkening filter would have been in order for this sort of shot. They go on the top of my list for things to buy next.

If your monitor is calibrated properly you should see sixteen distinct tones from white to black.
