Of the two pictures I prefer this one because the whole flower is in focus. The only thing is, I think the bright frame helps to make the colours in the flower look a bit dull. I realise the colour is lifted from the flower but it is very bright when presented in a large block of colour like that.

Thanks for taking the time to comment Geoff. I published this on another site and had some people like you prefering no frame and others liking the framing.
For me i dont care either way i just like taking photos and showing them to others.
Have you heard anything from Kev ?? seems to have go quite again.

Not for a while, I think he's a bit down at the moment after a series of accidents, broken bones etc. I'm sure he'll bounce back sometime soon.
