The Tiger Lily is one of my favourites...nice, vivid colours that always standout in any garden. However, as this is such a large (deep) flower...I would use a smaller aperture than f/11...in order to capture a crisper DOF across the entire bloom.


Also, I would make sure that the framing or crop doesn't cut-off any of the foreground petals like that....

If your monitor is calibrated properly you should see sixteen distinct tones from white to black.
