Nice shot but the colours are blowed. I would increase the saturation. And I would treat the sky separately - in this shot it will be easy.

Hiya kd, this shot is actually processed twice. In ACR i reduced the expo on the sky to about -1.5 as there was very little detail in it and increased the expo of the foreground to about +.5. copied and pasted the foreground onto the sky and used the eraser tool to bring back the sky. Didnt want to increase the sat as I wanted to convey a level of bleakness. maybe I should have made it mono

If your monitor is calibrated properly you should see sixteen distinct tones from white to black.
