I haven't been to Charleston in quite a while...but it is definitely one of my favourite US cities. Being a heritage house fan...the old colonial and plantation style homes, etc are right up my alley. I love the summer heat n humidity down there too.


Using a polarizer on a shot like this would add a nice effect...making the water clearer and the sky a richer, deeper blue. The shot is somewhat dark....and needs some levels adjustments to bring out more detail on the keyside rock stone wall and those buildings, etc.

If your monitor is calibrated properly you should see sixteen distinct tones from white to black.
