Wow this is HDR on steroids isn't it? It's an interesting illustration of what can be done with HDR, but I'm not sure it makes a great picture. It's a bit spooky in a weird kind of way. You know it can't be true but it takes a little time to work out why.


I think I would prefer it if the field was a little darker. My favorite HDR shouts are ones that look right and only photographers know that they can't be.

@Geoff - I guess you could say that! Yes, I too like the HDR images that look more natural. This one has a lot of boosted colors and contrast. Thanks for the tips!

Love it, I actually think most of it works really well, its just the highlights on the corn right in the foreground and the on the bottom that really work against you. But great work, I cant wait for summer now!

If your monitor is calibrated properly you should see sixteen distinct tones from white to black.
