More Waterfall Attempts

I spent a few hours cavorting in this waterfall trying to get some good pictures. The difficult of this waterfall placement is that the only way to take a picture of it is to be in the waterfall. So, barefooted, I was crawling around on slippery, mossy rocks and slodging through mud with my camera. All in all, it was a lot of fun and I think the new pictures turned out well. They are darker which lends to the cooler, shaded feel of the waterfall. I also tried to use the rocks on the bank as my "something sharp." I don't know how well they served that purpose. Are they a bit on the blue side? Larger they don't seem to be so blue, but minimized they appear to be.

This is the best of the two in my eyes, love the water effect. I agree with Kev in that the colour works well with this. Well done mate, I would love to try one of these. I think however u should go back slodge through the mud and try again for a 10!!! LOL

I think the picture is too cool. Try using auto color in photoshop and see what happens.


overall, I like the composition.


But i wont take the risk like you. One slip, and there goes your cam and lens.

Depending on what u want from the pic. I find this shot is touching on the abstract side of things, giving a dreamy almost Lord of the Rings feel.

The thing I notice about this pic is that the colors are kind of dreary. But, in this case, I'm saying it in a VERY good way! It really works... it almost has a gothic beauty thing going on. A very gorgeous shot, indeed! Well done! You know... taking another look at it, it would make a very good computer background... Wink
