It makes me feel homesick. A beautiful picture. Is this actually two pictures sandwiched together? There's something about it that doesn't quite ring true. If it is, you've done it very well. The scale doesn't seem quite right and there's something wrong a the base of the cliffs. [kev style philosophy]So maybe it makes me feel homesick for at place that doesn't really exist.[/kev style philosophy]

My only other comment is that the colour looks a bit green.

I'm afraid it's a completely real photo :D

Now that you mention it, it is kinda green. I'll have a go at sorting that out.

EDIT: Colour levels have been adjusted. For anyone interested, the original too-green version is here: http://img390.imageshack.us/img390/2772/bytheseaoo8.jpg

This is a famous composition (Geoff should know it - being originally from just down the beach)....I've seen several shots of this exact same picture over the years. I do like it tho, however...I think it should have a bit more definition/clarity overall....and a decent polarizer would have really improved the sky & glare/haze elements.

I think a polariser may have to be my next photography-related purchase.

I've had another try at it now. I don't imagine it helps that I'm doing this on an laptop monitor that I can't calibrate :P

If your monitor is calibrated properly you should see sixteen distinct tones from white to black.
