 Post subject: saving after cropping

if i draw one jpeg file in photoshop image ready n use crop tool to crop the edges,
pls tell me that after drawing the rectangle with crop tool on the picture,what are the steps i should do to save the portion of photo under the rectangle as jpeg file with same size in my folder :?:

i would be very grateful to you as i am not being able to save it properly for print n slide.

please tell me the actions one by one i ought to do till it is saved in the same folder i have drawn that from.

i am very weak at photoshop and want to learn few basics before going deeper.

After you have cropped the picture, select file->Save as...

Give the file a new name and press save. It's important to give the file a new name otherwise it will overwrite the old file.
